THE YOUNG WEREWOLVES

Clawing their way out of Transylvania, errr...Pennsylvania, The Young Werewolves have unfolded the true roots of Rock 'n' Roll.
Playing their own brand of Psycho Pop Rock 'n' Roll-a-Billy, this three piece rocker band will call out the creature in all who dare to infect their ears. By mixing the styles of classic hot rod Rock 'n' Roll to outlaw punk rock, The Young Werewolves have created a timeless sound guaranteed to make you howl along and strut your stuff.
The band began in early 2002 when three wandering musicians met in the city of Philadelphia. The time is kept by Jonny Wolf who pounds on his 3 piece stand up drum kit. Walking the veins on her bass guitar is Shewolf Dana K. Completing the trio is Wolfman Nick Falcon who fires lead and rythym guitar on his 6 string hollow body. Each werewolf shares vocal and howling duties.
The Young Werewolves have been called rockabilly, psychobilly, punkabilly, surf rock and everything in between. You decide for yourself. With influences ranging from The Ramones, Elvis, The Misfits, Buddy Holly, Stray Cats, The Monkees and The Cramps, their sound is quite unique.
And while the band is still growing, The Young Werewolves have already left quite a scratch. Starting off playing the Philly night club circuit on weekends, The Young Werewolves have expanded to open for national acts and hit prominent clubs in Lancaster, Baltimore, and New York City.
So listen up boys and ghouls, load your guns with those silver bullets and beware of the Full Moon, cause The Young Werewolves are comin' to your town soon

Born in San Antonio, TX and raised in Southern California, Rosie Flores' music blends the best of honky tonk, rockabilly, and jazz with the traditional sounds of her Tex-Mex heritage. Since the late 70s, she has been an important figure in the Los Angeles, Austin, TX and Nashville music scenes.
Rosie's reputation as a high octane rockabilly star is well established. Critical raves from prestigious publications such as the Los Angeles Times and Guitar Player magazine leave no doubt about her talent for filling dance floors and lighting up rooms with her blazing guitar solos.
Rosie's solos recordings have found homes on both the Billboard and Gavin charts and are also featured in seven motion pictures. Her revved-up performances in honky-tonks from Boston to Bakersfield have won legions of fans and earned appearances on such nationally broadcast television programs as "Austin City Limits" and "Late Night with Conan O'Brian." Honestly, I don't believe that Sean Mencher needs a long introduction as every true rockabilly fans should know him either from his work with High Noon, his productions (The Two Timin' Three, The Gin Palace Jesters, Jessie Lee Miller, Croonin' Kurt...) or his appearances as guest guitarist (Wayne "The Train" Hancock, Dig Wayne...).
This fine guitar player also finds time to lead his own band, The Sean Mencher Combo.

DANNY KAY AND THE NIGHTLIFERS
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=18438704
The Nightlifers from Baltimore, Maryland have been held together by mutual respect and hatred for each other. In early 2003, Dan and John started practicing together in John's basement, where they wrote HonkyTonk Friday Night. After practicing off and on for two months, Dan had friend Eddie MacIntosh, singer from The Boom Boom Cats, sit in on lead guitar. It sounded pretty damn good so they started playing out. After a few shows, Eddie decided that this wasn't the direction he wanted to go in. Later, at a show in Federal Hill, long time friend and musician Jimmy Swope liked what he saw. After the show, Jimmy told Dan, "You know what you guys are missin'? ME!" A few weeks went by and in a drunken haze, all three blew the roof off a local pub on an open mic night. Right then and there they knew that they had a winning combination. Since that night, The Nightlifers have been rippin it up wherever they go. In November of 2006, Rock Baker, long time freind of the band has taken Jimmy Swope's place as Lead Guitarist.
JESSIE LEE MILLER

On her 2006 album, Now You're Gonna Be Loved, Austin-based singer Jessie Lee Miller proved she had perfected the poised pose and pitch of mid-1950s western-swing. So faithful was her sound that she inevitably drew comparisons to Patsy Cline.
On Waiting, Miller again recalls the stars of country's golden era, but this time she widens her stylistic palette to include rhythm and blues, big band jazz, rockabilly, and even a few little touches of Tejano, as well. Perhaps as a result of her decision to self-produce this album, her voice, too, is more varied. Though still possessing that depth, strength, and haunting quality associated most closely in popular consciousness with Cline, there is clear evidence of Miller's other probable vocal influences. Texas Ruby springs to mind on several tracks, as do country pioneer Jean Shepard, honky-tonk hell-raiser Charline Arthur, and hillbilly queen Rose Maddox. Whether she's the sultry chanteuse or the feisty firecracker, it's obvious that Jessie Lee Miller knows her musical history.

After serving in the United States Military (82nd Airborne Division) he went on to New York City and recorded his first two sided forty-five record under the famous "Universal Artists" record label. The song titles were: "Rocking On The Moon" and "Your Ruining Our Love Affair."

Besides inciting riotous mayhem and general debauchery (not to mention occasional nudity), the Buzzards have performed at every rockabilly hot spot, including the Rodeo Bar in Manhattan and the Blue Comet just outside of Philly.
They are the house band at the Bayou in Long Island and performed at the Gold Coast Casino in Las Vegas for the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend four years in a row. They were rewarded with a standing ovation each year. They have performed at the Indy Rockabilly Rebel Weekend, the Heavey Rebel Weekender in North Carolina, and Rock n Rods in Philly. They performed for the Rockabilly Hall of Fame many times, most notably at the 50th anniversary of Elvis Presley's first sold out concert, in Memphis, TN.
They are the band of choice to open for national acts and received outstanding praise for their performance with the great Scotty Moore. Scotty even came out to the diner with the Buzzards after the show.
